Not car-related but Macbook was drunk today at work. Lasted at 0% for a good 10 min.

Apple, now with innovative battery tech that lets you reset your device for an extra 20% when you’re in need.

You probably hurt your battery a little bit by killing it of any juice it had remaining.

One of my MacBook Pro’s does that too, but my iPhone 5s will shutoff when there is 12% battery left.

Meh, it’s said service battery for a few months now and it’s out of warranty at this point so fuck it. Probably doesn’t help that I frequently drop it and have spilled coffee on it 2-3 times but remember..

[Insert Apple product and battery life zinger here]
-Sent from my iPhone 5s
Bonus fact: Sony manufactures the iPhone 5/5s/5c batteries probably others as well.

Yeah mine’s a 15” pro. Also, my iPhone 4 used to do that all the time but my 5s never dies until it hits 0%

I see James May in that picture all the time and it freaks me out.
and yes, I know it’s Jack Nicholson.

My 5s has great battery life (hooray for Sony) but the macbook range is all over the place. At work I can only get like 2-3 hours out of it but at home I can get like 5-6.

Give him some thick locks and he could be James May.

Haha. The battery level on my mac will be at 7% then it’ll randomly jump up to like 17% and then back down to 4%

Maybe it’s future post TG James May.

It very well might be! But in all seriousness, Jack Nicholson is a legend.

Ignorance is bliss? But the Macintosh lasting that long on a battery means it is was a good battery.

It does all kinds of random things. Sometimes it will be at a certain % then it will jump up to a higher % for a few min then back down to another %

You’re going to have to send that thing in. (unless you know how to remove laptop batteries). When I got my macbook and realized it was some all enclosed T-1000 type deal, I knew I would just have to put up with sending RMA’s to apple if anything went wrong.

Meh, it's out of warranty and I don't feel like paying for it right now. The computer says you can use it without hurting it when it says service battery.

Just a FYI, a new MBP 15” battery is only like $100 and will get you back to that 7 hour battery life. IMHO totally worth it.
